She is the daughter of American actor John Drew Barrymore and lldiko Jaid Barrymore. Her grand parents, great grand parents and great great grand parents belong to acting, so from childhood she spends her time in acting atmosphere. When she was 11 months old, she appeared in a television commercial for “Puppy Choice Dog Food”.
American film actress and producer, Drew Barrymore made her debut in films by “Altered Status”, which was released in 1980. Rather her role in movie was small but it was appreciated by many film makers. Next year, she got a role of Gertie, in E.T the Extra-Terrestrial. This role made her famous.
