
Norman Reedus says he’s returning to work on “The Walking Dead” after suffering a head injury on set earlier this month.
“Thank u for the nice thoughts it’s been a week. or two. I was in an accident. but getting better,” Reedus, 53, wrote via Instagram on Friday.
“Getting cleared and gonna be back at work Tuesday they tell me.”
In his post, Reedus – who portrays Daryl Dixon on the hit AMC horror drama series – also apologized to fans for having to bail on Atlanta’s Fandemic Tour convention as he recovered.
“Sorry bout Atlanta event I was looking forward to it,” he said.
Fans were quick to send him well wishes in the comments section, writing things like, “I can not put into words the happiness I feel seeing you post” and “Love you norman… so happy you’re recovering and will be okay
.”
