They met on the set of the television series Pan Am where Heerdegan worked as a dolly grip. They have one son together. Ricci married hairstylist Mark Hampton in 2021. They have a daughter together. Christina Ricci is a national spokesperson for the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAIN). They live in a Hollywood Hills home worth $1.5 million.
